With so many important political challenges across the country and state, one thing we cannot overlook is that we have a new Senator representing us in DC. If you have been following Senator Padilla on Twitter, you will have seen that he has been on a progressive path since taking the oath of office...and we like what we see so far. Instead of trying to fit in a few minutes with Senator Alex Padilla during an otherwise jam packed Convention, we decided that what we really need is a long form discussion to understand his priorities and perhaps even help shape his thoughts on what California progressives expect from our Senator.
This will be a conversation not to miss. It is often said that the fifty United States Senators are each the most powerful positions in the world. So let's attend in large numbers and ensure that progressive values are heard loud and clear.
Please join us by registering at tinyurl.com/PCPadilla
Let us know what you think we should be asking Senator Padilla; comment on our Facebook post.
